Norfloat International’s channel marker buoy is an affordable low-maintenance, high visibility buoy.
Its torispherical bottom design increases significantly its stability in deep, shallow, tidal and drying out conditions. The channel marker buoy is ideal for harbours, estuaries, rivers, lakes and fjords. Available in port, starboard, special marks and race marks, the channel marker buoy can be fitted with most makes of 1-2nm self-contained lighting units. Made from UV stabilised polyethylene, the CM1100 offers excellent impact resistance. Its low energy surface reduces marine growth significantly which helps keep maintenance costs to a minimum. The channel marker buoy has increased wall thickness allowing it to be used with or without foam fill, depending on its application. Optional 1-2nm self-contained lighting can be fitted using a light fitting kit which has been specially designed, making it difficult for it to be stolen.
The single point mooring eye incorporates a 316 stainless steel wear bush and has been designed to use a 32mm “D” shackle.
