NN1100 Multi Purpose Buoy specifications

NN1100 yellow Norfloat navigation buoyNorfloat International’s NN1100 navigations buoy has been designed to operate in  open and shallow water.  Supplied with an extended central tube and mooring point, the buoy’s stability provides a stable platform for 1-3nm self-contained lighting and radar reflector.

Features

UV stablised polyethylene
Polyethylene offers excellent impact resistance.  Its low energy surface reduces marine growth significantly, helping keep maintenance costs to a minimum.

Foam filled
Norfloat International’s NN range of navigation buoys are pressure foam filled using marine grade polyurethane foam to a density of 30kg per cubic metre.

Stability
The stability of the NN1100 is achieved by its replaceable tail tube.  The tube incorporates the mooring point which lowers its centre of gravity significantly – providing an ideal platform for 1-3nm self contained lighting and radar reflector.

Handling
For safety and ease of handling purposes, the buoy is supplied with a single lift point.

Application
Available as lateral, special marks, IDM, wreck and cardinals.
