Available as modular, through-chain and optional pad-eye, Norfloat International’s comprehensive range of rigid mooring buoys offer a tough, long lasting, cost effective solution to most mooring requirements.
Manufactured from UV stabilised polyethylene, the rigid mooring buoys provide excellent impact resistance. Its low energy surface reduces marine growth significantly which helps keep maintenance costs to a minimum.
The rigid mooring buoys are pressure filled using marine grade polyurethane foam, to a density of 36kg/m3.
Norfloat International understands that standard off-the-shelf mooring buoys may not always meet mooring needs therefore it is able to manufacture bespoke items to suit varying requirements. Moulded irremovable lettering can be added during manufacture.
